How are you? How is your week going? I hope you’re doing amazing!
Fall season is right around the corner (as a fellow Fall lover, I can’t wait for it) and so I want to start sharing some Fall games, spooky games, mistery games and more.
This time I’ll start with the Fall ones because it’s the best way to start this Fall games series.

🍁Reka

This game is one of the games that I’m most excited to get more into this year, I tried a bit last year but this year I really want to fully immerse on it as I love the concept and art and all the autumnal landscapes of it.

It’s called Reka and it’s inspired in the Slavic folklore figure Baba Yaga, a known figure that is denominated as witch/ogress.
You’ll play as her apprentice and you’ll learn witchcraft, you’ll have your own chicken-legged house (wich is pretty cool!) and you’ll be able to decorate it as well.

You can discover wildlife and tame it or make them your companions and you must help local villagers on quests as well.
Also, you can roam forests and swamps, collect plants and craft magical supplies.
I can tell you, from what I’ve seen, that this game is beautiful and there’s a lot of lovely autumnal landscapes with a lot of warm tones.

Reka is available only on Steam.

🍁Wytchwood

Wytchwood is a crafting adventure game set in a land inspired by gothic fables and fairytales.

You play as an old witch who lives in a hut and you have to explore a weird and mysterious countryside, swamps and farmlands to collect ingredients and brew enchantments.

In this game you wake up to a demon goat who you have to bring 12 wicked souls to wake up a sleeping maiden.
Wytchwood is very rich in colors and graphics and it has a storybook artstyle that makes the game really beautiful and spooky at the same time.

Wytchwood is available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4, PS5, Android, macOs and Xbox X and S.

🍁Knights and Bikes

Knights and Bikes is a co-op + adventure game that happens in the 80’s at a british island and you play as Nessa or Demelza.

These two try to explore the city of Penfurzy on their bikes to find a lost legendary treasure.
This game is hand painted and inspired on the movie ‘Goonies’.
You can play alone or with a friend and Nessa and Demelza form the ‘Penfurzy Rebel Bicycle Club’ alongside with your pet goose.

You’ll have to bike and try to avoid water balloons, frisbees, etc.
Throughout the game, you have to collect trinkets that you find on the streets and places that you visit so that you can trade that later and upgrade you bikes with what you earned from that.

You’ll definitelly need these upgrades because the path gets harder throughout the game, you’ll face windy beaches, woods, ruins, amusement parks and many more, so I highly recommend to not skip this part.

🍁Bear & Breakfast

Bear & Breakfast is a management + adventure and youl’ll play as a bear named Hank and after you’re wandering in the woods with your friends, Anni and Max, you meet Finn.
Finn is a mechanical shark that makes you the owner of a bed and breakfast located in the Valley.

Your mission is to rebuild this bed and breakfast and make a nice stay for your guests, with the help of your friends.

Throughout the game you’ll meet humans and animals (a bit unique) that will provide you resources to help rebuild and maintain the resort.
Gather resources and learn to cook ingredients to make your guests happy, you’ll always have tips during the game to help you if you don’t know something.
This game is absolutely beautiful and it has a lot of warm tones and pretty/spooky landscapes and the story is quite interesting.

Bear & Breakfast is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PS4 and PS5.

🍁A Short Hike

A Short Hike is a relaxing exploring game that it’s perfect for this season.
In this game, the purpose is to explore a lot, hike, climb, fly and meet other hikers along the way.
You can explore things at your own way and pace and make your own path or you can follow marked trails, fish along the river banks or swim by the lakeshore.

Throughout the game you will meet other hikers who are hiking or climbing the mountain as well and you’ll also find hidden treasures to reach different heights, wich make the experience of the game more fun.
This one has a lot of beautiful colors and landscapes so I definitelly recomend taking some time to explore.

A Short Hike is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, macOS and Xbox one.

🍁Mail Time

In Mail Time you play as a Mail Scout who delivers mail to the villagers living in Grumblewood Grove.
Run, jump in mushrooms, glide to deliver mail in time to the villagers who are waiting, listen to their lovely stories and befriend them.
Along the way you’ll have to collect trinkets to win Mail Scout emblems.

You have 46.000 different customization options (wich is perfect if you love to customize your character), 15 characters to meet in the game and 8 different areas.
Meet this lovely world that seems out of a fairytale and wich I think it’s perfect for Fall season.

Mail Time is available on Steam, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and macOS.
